Informatica Developer

Develop Informatica mappings (adhering to the naming standards) and Teradata bteq scripts to load data through complex ETL process as per the standards. Prepare unit cases for any task that is taken up. Schedule jobs in Control-M, Auto Sys. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure high quality deliverables. Perform data quality tests and code review. Fine tune the long running queries and Informatica mappings. Responsible for Informatica Power Center solutions/implementation for data warehouse purpose. Develop new mappings/modify the existing mappings as per new systems and requirements using Informatica PC 9.x,10.x. Develop ETL solutions for new enhancements and support daily data loads. Prepare the technical requirements for Informatica ETL mapping developments using Informatica 9.6.1/Teradata/Unix platform. Develop the new mappings and drive the team to complete the development in time as per requirements. Develop the Informatica mappings (SCD Type 1/2) to incorporate the business logic using Informatica PC 9.x,10.x, Teradata and Teradata Utilities. Develop Unix shell scripts to automate few checks as part of daily batch cycles. Prepare migration documents to move code from one environment to another environment. Monitor the daily loads as part of hyper care and share the load stats at the end of the day to the stakeholders. Responsible for fixing hyper care jobs failure in production. Lead the DWBI team project team, managing multiple tasks and assignments as a team lead with effective communication skills. Troubleshoot development issues as required. Responsible for the deliverables and planning work allocation to team members status reporting and hand shaking between onsite and offshore. Provide work estimates for projects as necessary. Perform Query Optimizing and Performance Tuning. Will work in South Brunswick Twp, NJ and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
